Lydiate Learning Trust has an accredited Teacher Training provider called Associated Merseyside Partnership SCITT.
AMP SCITT is a partnership of schools, led by Deyes High School. It provides practical, hands –on teacher training, delivered by experienced, practicing teachers based in their own school or a school in their network. AMP SCITT works in partnership with Holy Rosary Teaching School, Sefton and Merseyside schools and Hope University.

Training as part of a SCITT gives trainees the opportunity to learn “On the job”. Our trainees benefit from working and learning every day in a school and getting an immediate insight into what teaching involves. This also means we get to see the highest quality trainees in action and inevitably many of them join our workforce.
