School Improvement & Support

Our school improvement and support strategy is based on strong collaboration so that the skills, talents and abilities that exist across Lydiate Learning Trust can be of benefit to all.

While each one of our schools is unique, we understand that the mutual challenge, support and partnership that we offer each other will enable our schools to grow and to continue to develop as centres of excellence.

Lydiate Learning Trust believes in walking alongside its school leaders, enabling them to provide their students and communities with the strongest educational and pastoral offer possible.

Our offer to new schools joining us builds on their excellent work prior to joining LLT so that they can continue to go from strength to strength and others can learn from them too.

We believe our offer provides a balanced approach. One of autonomy matched with support, challenge and an expectation to contribute and get involved.

Our unique strand comes from our AMP SCITT Teacher Academy for Education which trains approximately 100 Primary and Secondary student teachers each year. AMP SCITT provides mentor training across 80 partner schools in the North West. Lifelong career stage training is offered to LLT staff and beyond by our Chartered College Specialists.

Our shared ambition throughout this strategy is simple … to do the very best by our students so that they can achieve at the very highest level.

Our new comprehensive School Improvement Support offer brochure will be published here soon.
