The Trust

John Graham

AREA OF EXPERTISE

CURRENT ROLE                    

Deputy Chief Executive & Director of Finance at the Royal Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust

ABOUT                                        

John has almost 30 years NHS experience having worked for a variety of Trusts including, most recently, Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Trust and Greater ManchesteR West NHS Foundation Trust.

His expertise lies in the areas of Finance, IT, Business Development and Procurement. He is an accredited NHS “Top Leader”

Latterly, in his role, he has overseen mergers and the dissolution of organisation eg securing funding for a £400 million hospital.

Graham Hewer

Headteacher of Greenpark Primary School 1993-2011 (now retired)

ABOUT

A highly experienced retired Headteacher whose last full Ofsted inspection judged the school as good with outstanding features. “The high standards at the time of the last inspection have been improved. This mainly because of the strong leadership of the Headteacher who works with energy and determination to drive the school forward.”

Graham developed the first ‘network of community’ schools programme in England and chaired the group until 2011. Previously a Local Leader in Education. A community member of the host school’s governing body providing support and challenge to raise standards and fulfilling the role of Governor link for Safeguarding.

TRACK RECORD

Ofsted report judged school as good with outstanding features. Chaired the network learning group supporting raising standards across a portfolio of schools.

Ann Stahler

Executive Headteacher of Lydiate Learning Trust

ABOUT

In her previous role as Headteacher of Deyes High School, Ann led this large 11-18 mixed comprehensive since 2010 during which time she has demonstrated the following acheivements.

  • A*-C including Maths and English 59% (2010) to 70% (2012) and consistent thereafter.
  • Last three years the school has been oversubscribed in terms of year 7 intake.
  • Led the school to ‘Academy’ status and embraced Academy freedoms.
  • Led the commissioning ‘By Schools For Schools’ in terms of school to school support and has 4 SLEs working to her.
  • Achieved Local Leader in Education Status.
  • Ofsted rating ‘Good’ (2011) and Interim Desktop by Ofsted (2014) rated Good.
  • Ofsted wrote “Deyes High School is a good school which is rapidly improving. Provision for safeguarding is outstanding. the orderly environment creates a good climate for learning. Students participate well. The Headteacher has provided vision, challenge and determination which have inspired all members of the school community to secure improvements.”

TRACK RECORD

  • In her previous post Ann increased standards from 16% A*-C including Maths and English to 52% A*-C including Maths and English.
  • Commissioned by the SSAT to be the keynote at launch of “Enterprising Heads”.
  • Successfully completed NPQH, the Urban Leadership programme for serving Heads and the SSAT Executive Headteacher Programme.
  • She is currently deployed to mentor new Headteachers and serves on many local, Merseyside and regional Headteacher network groups.
