On Thursday 22nd September 2016 Childwall SSA hosted a whole school Open Evening. The evening was attended by families from all across the area who had a keen interest in exploring the school site.
All visitors were greeted by staff and most importantly an army of Childwall’s new Year 7 students who were on hand to show guests around and answer any questions they had.
Some very confident and enthusiastic Year 7’s also presented to prospective students and parents/carers and told them why the school has made them feel so at home after only a few weeks at the school. Read below some of their comments and view some of the very creative displays that were around the school.
Some comments from Year 7
“When I first came to Childwall I was nervous, scared and worried because I did not know what to expect. After only three weeks I can honesty say that all my fears have been put to rest.”
“Coming here just seems to give me the feeling that there is something to look forward to everyday.”
“The teachers and members of staff are lovely. Everyone is kind, helpful, friendly and makes you feel really at home.”
“At first I thought I would never make any friends but Childwall has boosted my confidence.”
“The reason why you should join our Childwall family is because we are a happy, education, fun and safe environment.”
